Not afraid of heights and in the mood for a thrill? The Königsleiten GipfelLiner is the perfect destination for adventurous visitors: at 2300 meters above sea level, the zipline leads over the Königsleiten reservoir and overcomes 65 meters in altitude. The courage to take that first step off the 3-meter-high launch platform is rewarded with a magnificent panorama from a bird's eye view.
Königsleiten
Hiking for the whole family – and great fun at every stop: on the Königsleiten yodeling trail, even those who don't like hiking will get their money's worth, because along the route various audio stations await young and old yodelers. At the push of a button, they play different yodeling songs. And so that even the little ones can yodel at the top of their lungs, the entire hiking trail is suitable for strollers. It starts at the summit station of the Dorfbahn Königsleiten
Surrounded by the incomparable mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, an 18-hole championship golf course with driving range awaits beginners and advanced golfers. The par-70 course is flat and easy to walk on but is anything but boring: with rustic hay barns and numerous water hazards, the Hohe Tauern Golf Club is a challenge for every golfer.
Gerlos
Less than a ten-minute drive from the MY ALPENWELT Resort is the Durlaßboden reservoir – the outdoor paradise between Gerlos and Königsleiten. In summer, the water of the reservoir warms up to 21° degrees, making the lake the place to be for water sports fans. From swimming and pedal boats to SUP, everything is possible here. Another highlight: from the shore you can tee off directly into the water. What you get annoyed about on real golf courses becomes a lot of fun here. The balls are, of course, sustainable – in this case, made from fish food. If you want to take it easy, you can hike around the lake and relax on one of the numerous sunbathing lawns.
Durlassboden reservoir
For beginners and experienced SUP riders alike, the Durlassboden reservoir is a dream destination. The calm water surface of the lake allows you to enjoy a relaxing ride while taking in the spectacular views. Balancing on the SUP board is the key to fun, and with a little practice, even beginners can enjoy the beauty of the lake to the fullest.
