The MY ALPENWELT Resort in Königsleiten-Wald in Pinzgau is gently nestled between the Pinzgau grass mountains in the north and the mountain ranges of the Hohe Tauern in the south at an altitude of 1,600 meters. Königsleiten is a small, beautifully situated vacation resort that has a lot to do with the history of our house.
Toll-free over the Gerlos Pass
ARRIVAL VIA TYROL AND THE ZILLERTAL
If you travel to Königsleiten via Rosenheim - Kiefersfelden - Kufstein and the Zillertal or via Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck and the Zillertal, you will always arrive toll-free, since you don't have to pass the toll booth at the Gerlos Pass.
ARRIVAL VIA SALZBURGER LAND FROM MITTERSILL
All year round, you can travel toll-free via the old Gerlosstraße (B165) coming from Mittersill via Wald im Pinzgau to Königsleiten, since you don't have to pass the toll booth at the Gerlos Pass on this route.
(Attention: If you are coming from Mittersill via Krimml to Königsleiten, you will arrive via the new Gerlosstraße and pass the toll booth at the top of the pass, where you must pay a toll.)
IN WINTER
In winter, you can pass the toll booth free of charge with your valid ski pass.
Upon presentation of your winter vacation reservation confirmation, you can already arrive free of charge via the toll booth.
When you return home from your winter vacation, please hand in your ski pass/keycard at the toll ticket office so that you can still take advantage of the free ride on your way home | You will receive the deposit for the keycard at the toll booth.
In order to avoid the congested areas of the Zillertal on your way to us in beautiful Königsleiten in winter, we recommend that you travel via Kufstein - Kitzbühel and Mittersill.
WINTER TIRES REQUIRED IN AUSTRIA FROM NOVEMBER 1
Since winter tires are required in Austria from November 1 (and applies until April15), we recommend that our guests equip their car with winter tires and, if necessary, snow chains for the trip.
If the road is covered with a continuous layer of snow or a layer of snow or ice that has not been significantly interrupted or if there is an explicit obligation to use snow chains, then snow chains must be fitted to at least two driving wheels.

Please note that there is generally a motorway vignette requirement (which includes a fee) on Austrian motorways.
